  4. This CD-ROM brings you a collection of political references that is a necessary addition to anyone's CD-ROM reference collection.
  5. Aimed primarily at those seeking elected political office, it also
  6. provides insights to all of us about how election campaigns are run and 
  7. the organization of our government.

  19. For your convenience ALL the books have been combined into
  20. one resource:      ALL_THE_BOOKS.CTL
  21. (Except the Federal Budget)

  23. Also included is an on-line TextWare Manual on TextWare 
  24. and its features:              _TEXTWARE_MANL.CTL.

  26. Simply double click on one of the "*.CTL" files to startup
  27. TextWare.
  28.  
  29. Once in TextWare you can page through the books using
  30. COMMAND '=' and COMMAND '-' to page forwards or backwards 
  31. through the text (each page is referred to as a CARD).
  32. Searches are started using COMMAND 's', a sample search might
  33. be "QUAYLE" (omit quotes) in the Congressional Directory.
  34. The result of any search is a "Hit List" -- a list of CARDS
  35. that have the searched for text. Double click on any 
  36. "Hit List" item to go to that CARD.
  37. All the books have a table of contents on CARD 2, use the 
  38. COMMAND 'g' command to skip to any page or CARD.
